I am more convinced than ever that improving housing availability and affordability will mean all hands on deck – a variety of solutions, a variety of players.
Recent announcements from Charlotte’s Faith in Housing initiative connect public money, training, and other assistance with faith based organizations who have a commitment to the mission and the excess property to contribute to creating affordable housing. Charlotte’s program is one of 140 that has partnered with Enterprise Community Partners on programs of this type leveraging a faith-based organizations connection to community and available property.
