Jumpstart Alabama is on track to extend the reach of state-supported industrial workforce training by building and delivering robust virtual reality platform – that makes good sense before, during, and after COVID, whenever that may be. The public-private partnership is pretty new, just launched in June 2020, and works with TRANSFRVR, an education technology company, who will build out standardized and customized VR training modules. There is already impressive list of public and private organizations joining in, and a pilot program rolling out at five community colleges.
