In the past few years, there are many things about Louisville that have come to my attention that are memorable, but you might be surprised by this one. Louisville Forward has recently launched the Etsy Craft Entrepreneurship program to help, as they say “turn talent into a profitable business”. Through a series of workshops they are helping local makers expand their markets online – this is what it looks like to help small business export goods and services. If it is a good idea in a place like Louisville, imagine what a good idea it would be in smaller cities and rural areas who want to retain their entrepreneurial thinkers and makers.
