An “as…as” comparison can be a powerful tool when you are trying to give your prospects a frame of reference, but your geography doesn’t neatly fit into standard statistical boundaries.  Maybe you have created a strong regional group, but your boundaries don’t make an MSA.  Maybe your rural area has access to urban assets and amenities that is just as convenient as for some of your suburban competitors.

Here’s another example – gather up the data on how many degrees and certificates are awarded annually within your region or your labor shed. You may find it compares favorably to places people think of as centers of higher education.

Chances are, you might have to do some of the  data aggregation yourself, but when you do, you will help people see you in a new light.
