The Magic of Maps

Who knew Tolkien would be the one to beautifully summarize how important great maps are in economic development storytelling. In my next series of ReDesign Your Data posts, I’ll be talking about the good, the bad, and the ugly of designing and using maps to promote your community.  The first lesson is simple – yes, give us maps, lots of maps, sometimes even ones we can hold in our hands.
