Hey, my economic development friends, want to make a business-friendly move? Businesses have a new item on their to-do list that they didn’t ask for – deciding if, what and how to communicate to employees and to the public in response to recent state and federal legal and policy decisions. There are no best practices yet, and companies know their customers and employees have viewpoints across the spectrum on a number of issues. Maybe think about doing what you do best – convene and facilitate forums and/or private connections where they can share and learn how to navigate from one another.
